I grew up in Northern California, and moved to Southern California after high school where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from California Polytechnic University. After obtaining my degree, I lived in Lake Tahoe where I worked as a flight attendant and enjoyed snow skiing, snow shoeing, water skiing, volleyball, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, and in line skating. My background is in sales and marketing and I worked for many years with high school reform initiatives and developing resources and relationships between communities and schools in both the Sacramento and North Lake Tahoe communities. Now I live in the foothills of Northern California with my wonderful husband and three beautiful, healthy children. I currently work with my local school district and county with First 5 to promote good health and literacy for families with children ages 0-5 in my community.

I had the horrible experience of losing a brother (my only sibling) which led me down the journey of writing a book for children who have experienced loss. I discovered whenever I met someone who had suffered a similar loss, there seemed to be an instant connection to that person as if they understood how I felt inside. I wanted to create a personal book children could have that made them feel understood. I created this spiritually healing book to be personalized by the parent or caregiver of the child no matter what ethnicity or gender.

To purchase a book with pre-printed and blank labels for the parent or care giver to personalize with or without the child ($15.95 plus tax, s&h),

To purchase a book personalized by Soothing Hartz Publishing ($17.95 plus tax, s&h) and to fill out the personal question form,

I would like to give special thanks to my wonderful husband John McCormack, Milena Robbins (my talented illustrator), Tim Flynn (my broker) and James Neal (graphic designer) for making this book possible. Anyone interested in graphic design work can contact James Neal at jneal56@sonic.net.
